this engine was built in 1941 not 1920

Cosmetic restoration some time in 2024. Fresh coat of paint and Valley Railroad logo on eastern side.

The locomotive has been restored cosmetically and is currently sitting outside the Valley Railroad shops on display.

The engine was purchased by the friends of the valley railroad and on Dec 29 we moved all the tanks and misc. parts to the our yard and are prepping the locomotive for transport in the next week or so!

The locomotive has been saved, and being moved too the Essex Steam Train,,in Essex,Ct,,from the friends of the Valley RR..According too the Salem,Newspaper,,as of 12/30/08,,to read article check flimles,on RYPN..

This loco sits in the city yards in Peabody, some parts repaired/restored, was being restored for display only as of 5/07, not much work done but some, may need new home, contact city of Peabody, MA.

the City of Peabody MA received this loco as a donation for cosmentic restoration, to be moved to Peabody during June 2006.

Locomotive has serial # 7344, per HK Porter records was built in 12/41.
