as of 2024 the locomotive has graffiti on its tender is starting g to rust

The 535 has just recently been moved in February from LaBonte Park to Railroad Heritage Park. This is right next to the Laramie Union Pacific depot

Used extensively on UPs Coalmont Branch from Laramie, Wyoming through Walden, Colorado to Coalmont.

The John Maxwell Collection has photos in its UP section including Excursion service in the 1950s. Some of these images are available for viewing online, others by purchase.

There was recently a push to raise funds to move 535 to the UP depot/railroad park in downtown Laramie. Unfortunately. the gentleman spearheading this drive died circa May, 2006.
