N&W 305 ( No 11)was painted but also distroyed. Much of the hardware was removed. They pained the brass and put yellow stripes on the sand and whistle domes. It never had yellow paint until a high shool group placed them on it as a summer work project, but yet a plaque stating it did is placed nearby and said to be written by the NWRS.I have emails from the NWHS that they didnt write this.It is hard to believe that in 2004 it past the boiler tests and the town decided to remove the tracks and finish diabling the engine.

The oldest serviving N&W steam locomotive. It is sad that all of the serviving 2-8-0's of the N&W are in bad shape. This one is at least going to get some restoration.
