107 was repainted in 2012. Some sort of website said the rods were put inside Dixie Stampede.

I stand corrected, it is indeed a Baldwin built engine

This engine was built by Schenectady locomotive works (later called ALCO) in 1887 not Baldwin.

Did they ever find the rods?  Someone told me that they were missing.  This would be about the second oldest Southern Railway steam locomotive in existence (behind #1509, Maud).  It would be nice to see it in a museum, cosmetically restored in a proper SR paint scheme.

Recently #107's Running Gear & Rods were removed.

The Whistle was removed also and is now used normally on Dollywood #70.
