No 7 is a non superheated 3 truck shay stored at Jamestown by agreement between CSRM, Railtown and Al Nickel (OWNER). A new group called Sierra Railroad Historical Society plans to retore her.

Although I have been told that there are currently no plans to restore No. 7 to operation, the locomotive has been painted, and is parked on the Sierra Railway's Angels Branch at the head of a cut of cars.

Pickering #7 is not owned by Pacific Locomotive and is now on loan to the California State Railroad museum at Jamestown, CA.
