On 27th September 2008, 71000 powers round the curve at Darnholme on its way to Goathland station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

71000 'Duke of Gloucester' arriving at Levisham on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. 30th April 2011 hauling the 14.30 train from Grosmont. Bearing in mind the loco's history and revival it is easy to understand why it carries a phoenix emblem on the buffer beam.
