On September 29th, 2018 'Douglas' was seen whilst visiting the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Built during the Great War for airfield construction, 'Douglas' had been repainted in Air Force Blue, complete with R.A.F. roundel. This celebrated the centenary of the foundation of the R.A.F and the loco being 100 years old. As the loco is narrow gauge, it took part in the Railway's Gala weekend by riding on a 'Lowmac' wagon in the demonstration freight train.
