A lovely Baldwin narrow gauge Pacific in immaculate order and in South Wales. It may have come from a South African cement works, but here's a classic US locomotive. I guess you have to admire the cement company's taste in locomotives!

Having run round for the return journey from Torpantau, the loco has coupled up to the brake van, which looks suspiciously like a caboose, or a US combine. In the UK we'd call it a birdcage brake van. Whatever, it looks right with the little Baldwin.

The proportions of the little Baldwin are so good that you might overlook it's small size, but not when a digger towers over it!

Head on view shows the width of the loco on the two foot gauge track - could just be in Maine, couldn't it?
