Rusting with many many others at the Barry scrapyard before it was rescued in 1975, after 11 years there.

Running as LMS No 13509, the Somerset & Dorset 7F on the main line in 1982. Pictured between Carnforth and Hellifield

Photographed following sale for scrap at Woodham's yard, Barry on August 12th 1967. Scrapping never came and the loco has survived and been restored to working order.

At Sheringham during the North Norfolk Railway's 'Fiftieth Finale Mixed Traffic Gala' on 1st of November 2025.

At Sheringham during the North Norfolk Railway's 'Fiftieth Finale Mixed Traffic Gala' on 1st of November 2025. The loco was withdrawn from service for its 10 year overhaul shortly after this event.
