Pictured in the depths of Carnforth depot on 13th April 1971.

Study of locos at Carnforth depot on 13th April 1971. 1306 is on the left. Notice the diamond shaped North British works plate on the front of the frame. On the right is ex-LMS 'Black 5' 45407 with an unidentified 'Black 5' in the background.

The ever immaculate class B1 is pictured running through Heighington on 31st August 1975 in the Cavalcade of locomotives marking the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway.
