The valve gear of No 65. So typical of the British steam locomotive of that era, with inside cylinders and all the valve gear between the frames. Neat in appearance but often awkward to lubricate.

Presented in it's pre 1923 South Eastern & Chatham Railway livery, No 65 shows the glory of the old companies so well. Beautifully done, colourful and showing great pride in the loco. So much more attractive than plain, unlined BR black.
