Now displayed in the new Riverside Museum, the loco is perched on the upper floor and looks as if it could roll over the edge at any time! A front end view would today require you to use a drone.

Right at the rear is the brake cylinder and a sand box tucked behind the cab steps. Notice the original rust on the brace for the buffer beam.

Inside the cab. The regulator lever lies on the cab floor - that will stop you driving it over the edge, no doubt.

What a ridiculous way to display an exhibit in a museum. With the front end hanging over the edge of the drop - it may look spectacular but it limits access to the exhibit.

This is the sole survivor of the entire fleet of the Glasgow & South Western Railway's locomotives. It only exists today because the new owners from 1923, the London, Midland & Scottish Railway sold it into industrial service at a coal mine.
