|Scottish Railway Preservation Society
The Scottish Railway Preservation Society is dedicated to the advancement of Scottish railway heritage. It has the largest collection of railway locomotives, carriages, wagons, equipment and artefacts outside the National Railway Museum. They also run mainline railtours around Scotland.
|The London & North Eastern Railway Encyclopedia
The London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) Encyclopedia covers the 25 year history of the LNER from its forming during the 1923 Grouping Act of the big four railway companys in Britain to the days of British Railways from 1948. The site has the history and technical information of the LNERs steam locomotives and rolling stock in their glory days to todays survivors in preservation and new builds.
