Class G5 Locomotive Company Limited
The Class G5 Locomotive Company Limited is founded by a group of like minded Northern railway enthusiasts, who intend to recreate a full-size prototypical North Eastern Railway Class O (LNER Class G5) 0-4-4T Passenger Tank Locomotive, initially for use on heritage railways such as Weardale, Wensleydale and Aln Valley and across the UK but later on the main line.

The London & North Eastern Railway Encyclopedia
The London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) Encyclopedia covers the 25 year history of the LNER from its forming during the 1923 Grouping Act of the big four railway companys in Britain to the days of British Railways from 1948. The site has the history and technical information of the LNERs steam locomotives and rolling stock in their glory days to todays survivors in preservation and new builds.
