Each individual locomotive can have an individual map to its location. These maps can be accessed by clicking on the globe in the upper right hand corner of the locomotive's display page. Several questions have been offered recently, about these maps, and I'd like to answer them here.
1. If a locomotive is in a railroad museum, the marker on the map points to a general location for the museum, not the locomotive's location within the museum.
2. If the locomotive is noted as Scrapped and still has a map, the marker on the map points to the last known location for the locomotive.
3. You can switch from a hybrid map/satellite photo view of the map, to a streets and markers only view by clicking on Map in the upper left hand corner of the map display.
