When built this was constructed as a 0-4-2VB powered luggage car by Maffei, but in 1913 was rebuilt minus luggage compartment and supporting axle, in it’s current guise as a 0-4-0BT (B = back) and served for many years as depot pilot at Torino Smistamento, where it was stored prior to eventual preservation.
