RM 6801 to FS 8281 1905 then FS 8291 1906 then FS 829.001 1918. Note correct number, FS did not have a class 839

Please amend current details here. This locomotive was built by CM, Sorrono for the Rete Mediterranean (Mediterranean Railway) as their No 6801 GARIGLIANTE. The locomotive became FS No. 8291 (please note order of numerals) in 1906. It was previously stored at Roma Smistamento depot awaiting preservation but but resides on a private estate outside Torino.
