The locomotive was delivered new to the HLB as their No. 7, that progressed during its relatively short revenue working life to No. 262 before ceasing work in 1969. It tempoarily worked for Eurovapor from 1973, and from 1977 the DME in Darmstadt. where it was later deposited. In 1986 it appeared with Oswald Steam, Samstagen, later also stored and again with Eurovapor in1991 at Emmenthal, having new Meiningen boiler, No. 1504 in 08/2000. It was stored with the VDTM in 2012.

Loco no longer in Huttwil. Restored to working order and moved to Blumberg, Germany for use on Wutachtalbahn (Tourist line)
