My thanks to all for the corrections to this file. Hopefully this is now correct.

Clearly, from comments made since 2012, this file needs to be amended, or a new file created as O30 TB 2, PLM Oullins 76/1870; which Brian has stated, deleting any reference to PO and 1423, with this or a second file as 030 A 1, including the PO number and, if any, a photograph inside. The problem is that so many files are years out of date but I appreciate that it is ‘rare’ for ‘new’ locomotives to be omitted!

I have this locomotive recorded as 030 TB 2 built by PLM Oullins 76 of 1870. 1423 is fully restored inside the new hall in 2010.

This locomotive was originally Paris-Orleans Railway No. 1423 and later PLM No. 030 A 1

The locomotive in this picture is NOT number 1423. I have a photo, taken inside the museum, of a fully renovated loco of the same class, complete with PLM 1423 brass number plate. I am currently trying to ascertain the identity of this loco, seen outside the Cite Du Train, at Mulhouse, France.
