The locomotive and ALL of Bob Kirtlands railroad equipment have been sold to Chris Baldo of Willits for her personal collection.

Locomotive has now moved to private owner in Willits. Also Somewhere between being owned by McCormick & Baxter and Erich Thompson it was owned by the Key System in Oakland at the Bay Bridge shops. http://www.auburnjournal.com/article/101-year-old-locomotive-auburn-history-travels-new-home-willits

History as provided by Brian T. Wise: This locomotive is H.K. Porter s.n. #5512, 15 tons, 27" drivers, 9x14 cylinders, built in 1913 for the Pacific Portland Cement Co. at Flint, CA (#202). Later worked for McCormick and Baxter Tie and Creosoting Co. at Stockton, CA. Purchased by Mr. Eric Thomsen (owner/bulder of 15" Redwood Valley Railways in Berkeley, CA. Operated by Nevada Heritage Society in 8/1961 on new track at Virginia City, NV, then in 1965 on track near Carson City, NV airport. Stored near Reno until taken to Virginia City for passenger service on revived V&T Ry. as their #3 (second) in 1977. Stored there until 1980.

Former Key System #202 (used to dismantle the system in the 50s, as well as over to rescue trains if stuck on the Bay Bridge)
