The BA, to whom it was delivered, was Beira-Alta, its No. 101 that then became CP No. 801. The glass done in which it sits in Vilar Formos, Almedia, Portugal (adjacent to the Spannish border) protects the loocomotive but is very reflective in the sun light!

Dear Sir, On July 1st, 2001 I made two pictures (I could send you them) of this steam loc, It was in good condition at the time. However on http://www.travel-images.com/view.shtml?portugal-gu4.jpg I found a picture of the same one depicting it as "rusting away". If it is a recent picture it is a shame the loc was not kept in proper state. Kind Regards Coenraad
