I have this locomotive at Entroncamento Museum in December 2019 having arrived from Nine. IT was reported as damaged.

Following it’s work on the CCeP (see previous note) the locomotive was purchased by the then new Minho and Douro Railway in 1874 and became their No. 13 prior to being renumbered by CP from 1927.

This is a great example of a British export loco, built for Companhia Central e Peninsular dos Caminhos de Ferro em Portugal in 1854. As such it is a wonderful survivor of both Portuguese and British locomotive engineering history.
