The locomotive is neither Jung nor Schichau 4111. It is in fact Schichau (Elbing) 4110/1944 which was originally ordered from A Borsig of Berlin, to become their No. 15729, but later sub-contracted the work, along with several others, due to ‘local’ circumstances to Elbing It was delivered to the DRB (as successor to the DRG) as No. 52 632, retaining that identity with the SBZ Military Administration 1945-1949, then continuing with the emerging DR who re-built it with a more powerful boiler 1958-1962, and emerging as No. 52 8186, later 52 8186-3. It was preserved in 1992 at Gaildorf and, the following year went to DKB Sulzbach-Lauren. It went to the ÖGEG in 1996.

Built as DRB No.52.632 in 1943, continued to carry that number with the DR until 1967. It was then re-constructed by AW Stendal, emerging as DR Rekolok No.52 8186 which it carried for the rest of its working life, through to purchase by ÖGEG, direct from its previous operator in Germany. However, alternative indications are that this locomotive is actually F Schichau, Elbing 4111/1944, though to me the original serial number is rather low to be a 1944 production example whoever the builder!!!
