The SLM works list shows this loco built for VR no. 328 class G1.IN 1887 it was renumbered as VR 124. Withdrawn and preserved in 1938. From "Die Lokomotiven Finnlands" Stenvalls 1975.

This is a Class G5 built for the Helsinggors (Helsinki) - St Peterbourg Railway as their No. 124. When VR was constituted 1917, it became their No 328 but is preserved in it’s HSPR identity.
