This was the first of 98 (and most numerous) class of passenger locomotives built for the SJ. A further 3 were built for the SWB during WW2, the company and stock being absorbed into S J during 1945.

This locomotive noted on http://www.svenska-lok.se/damp_solo.php?s=19&lokid=3424 was manufactured by AB Motala Verkstad, Sweden in 1909. Manufacturing No. 431. Boden 1957. Kiruna 1960. It was handed over to the Railway Museum in 1973. Mjölby 1986. Gävle 2006-10. As previously noted, it was sold 2010 to Motala municipality.

This locomotive is now located outside the old Motala locomotive works in Motala, Sweden. Condition is fair, display, not operational
