I am an engine driver at Beaudesert Rail. The photograph illustrating the engine 967 which is said to have been by Ben Francis on your website is in fact one that I took. The engine had run out of steam because of a trainee fireman, and I took several photographs while the train was stopped an steam was being raised. The date was september 21, 2003, the location being about 2 miles out of Logan Village on a trip to Beaudesert. Hoping that this can be rectified, Thanks.

I'm a volunteer fireman for Beaudesert Rail. Just thought I'd let you know that the unknown locomotive specifications for the Beaudesert Rail C17 No. 967, are the same as for Queensland Rail C17 No 974, as they are of the same locomotive class. Congratulations on a great website!!
