NSWGR 3026 was in service from 1904 to 1971 travelling about 1,500,000 miles. Originally it was number S661 and built as a 4-6-4T. Like 76 others locos of the 145 class it was rebuilt as a 4-6-0 tender loco. It became 3026 in the NSWGR 1924 renumbering scheme. Preserved by Lachlan valley Railway, who used her on specials in the 70s & 80s. Ran specials in Sydney for the New South Wales Railway 125 anniversary in 1980.
