Built in 1901 for Bass Brewery to work at their railway in Burton-upon Trent, becoming their number 9. Worked until 1964. Has been preserved now on display at the National Brewery Visitors Centre. There is plenty to see at this museum. The model of the brewery & railways is worth seeing, plus a good range of brewery vehicles. Behind 5907 is a carriage which was used over the years to take VIP visitors around the extensive brewery railways.

The only surviving member of the large fleet of small locomotives owned by the various breweries that operated in Burton on Trent. The centre is to reopen as the National Brewery Centre and its future seems assured.
