As part of its planned revival project at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, the ex GWR Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 6984 "Owsden Hall", which left Barry Scrapyard in October 1986 is next in line for completion from restoration, as like sister ex GWR Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 6989 "Wightwick Hall", its planned to be turned out in the famous Hogwarts Railways Red livery as a back up locomotive for the Harry Potter television series when completed.

It was anticipated that the locomotive would steam again by 2024.

Former GWR Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 6984 "Owsden Hall" has now left the Swindon & Cricklade Railway and has now relocated to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton Road in Buckinghamshire now.

The ex GWR Modified Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 6984 "Owsden Hall" is leaving the Swindon & Cricklade Railway at end of November as her owner is relocating the locomotive to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton Road in Buckinghamshire. Where its restoration will continue on there.
