The former Great Western Railway Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 5952 "Cogan Hall" which is owned by the 6880 Betton Grange Society Ltd. will be leaving the Llangollen Railway and will relocate to its new home at Tyseley Locomotive Works at Tyseley in Worcestershire. No. 5952 is still in Barry Scrap Yard Condition still but when she arrives at Tyseley Locomotive Works the opportunity has been taken to cosmetically prepare No. 5952 "Cogan Hall" for display at Tyseley and the Society invites expressions of interest in helping start the restoration of this former Barry scrapyard locomotive, both physically and financially.

Although presently still at Llynclys, the loco has been sold to the Betton Grange project for use as a source of parts in the shorter term and full restoration in the longer term. It will eventually relocate to Llangollen. The idea is to save time in the Betton Grange project by using parts like the bogie rather than fabricating new parts.
