The engine was cosmetically restored a few years ago and now looks far better. The high fence was also removed and is now in a more appropriate-looking display.

Visited this locomotive today. It is in pretty bad shape, the base of the cab is rusted through in several places. Looks like some citizens are trying to raise fix-up money. They have put a banner for their website http://www.saveourtrain.com.
