With its festive duties at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway now finnished for the year, ex LMS Black Five 4-6-0 No. 44932, will be returing home to West Coast Railway Company’s depot at Carnforth in Lancashire for the winter and to await other work to come in 2025. If it will ever return to mainline railtour duties in 2025 given the current situation with central door locking not being fitted to West Coast Railway Company’s fleet of Mk1 Carriages is qustionable? But No. 44932 will be maintained and kept to mainline standards still for other work for the time being at leasted.
