The ex GWR 1366 Class 0-6-0PT No. 1369, has gone on loan to the Bristol Harbour Railway for the 2025 season, while their ex Port of Bristol Authority, Peckett built 0-6-0ST (Works No. 1940) No. 6 "Henbury", is at the South Devon Railway visiting for the 2025 season.

The ex GWR 1366 Class 0-6-0PT No. 1369, will visit the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway from late November 2024 until the end of year to be their main steam locomotive for their Santa Specials this Christmas.

With its hire to the Gwili Railway now over, ex GWR 1366 Class 0-6-0PT No. 1369 has returned home to the South Devon Railway to be ready for use for the 2023 season there.

The ex GWR 1366 Class 0-6-0PR No. 1369 will be going on a hired visit to the Gwili Railway for the 2022 season there and is expected to be used regularly during its stay there.

1366 No. 1369 has been fired up for the first time since 2017 and will shortly undergo running-in turns before returning to service.

1369 has worked its final trains today at the South Devon Railway in very surprising modern GWR Green livery with yellow buffer beams. The loco has now been withdrawn from service to under go its 10 year overhaul.

Collett 0-6-0PT 1369 was designed for Dock Shunting and built in 1933 at Swindon Works. After 27 years shunting at Swindon she worked on the quayside tramway at Weymouth (1960-2) and on the Wenford Bridge Branch (1962-4). On withdrawal in 1964 she was preserved by the Dart Valley Railway, the predecessor of the South Devon Railway. 19th July 2007
