The company was The Southern RAILWAY! Not all US companies took the title "Railroad" and the Southern was one that did not. Take a look at their herald. Please check your facts before adding comments.

New boiler delivered in June 2005. Now attached to frame, and locomotive is being rewheeled. Crews work on the locomotive on Thursdays and on Saturday/Sunday. All help and donations are appreciated! www.mrym.org

The new boiler is being built in St. Louise and anyone can go to the Monticello on thursdays to lend a hand in the locos rebuild.  Good chance to get dirty on a loco, sorry that I can't give more info but I haven't made it up there to work yet!

This locomotive is currently undergoing restoration, which includes a new boiler, as well as considerable amounts of other work.  The Museum's goal for it's return to service is 2007, the locomotive's 100th anniversary.
