Tyseley Locomotive Works and their Vintage Trains have announced that ex GWR Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 4965 "Rood Ashton Hall" to be overhauled and returned to the mainline again, meaning that it should steam in time for its 100th birthday in 2030, and also Oil-firing is also being contemplated for the locomotive.

No. 4965 "Rood Ashton Hall" has been withdrawn from service as the locomotive has reached the end of its 10 year boiler ticket and will be undergoing her overhaul.
