The former Great Eastern Railway Y14 (LNER J15) 0-6-0 No. 564, has had to be withdrawn from service early following a failed boiler test, as it was discoved they were a number of broken firebox stays that needed replacing. The Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway Society, owners of No. 564 will now be developing and finalised now as quickly as possible to organise a full overhaul for the locomotive.

The former Great Eastern Railway Y14 0-6-0 No. 564 will be visiting the Spa Valley Railway in Kent for the Autumn and Winter from October till the end of January 2020. Where the locomotive will operate during their Real Ale & Cider Festival on the 18th to 20th October 2019 and will hauling their Santa Specials over the Christmas season. No. 564 will round off its visit there along side her North Norfolk Railway stable mate Hunslet built 0-6-0ST "Ring Haw" during their Winter Steam up in January 2020.

The Great Eastern Railway Y14 or LNER J15 No. 564 is visiting the Severn Valley for their Autumn Steam Gala in September 2017. This will be the first visit away from the North Norfolk Railway in its GER guise.
