The overhaul on ex War Department and Dutch National Railways, Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 75105 "Walkden", has now been completed and is now operational again and the locomotive is set to return to service at the Ribble Steam Railway during their Steam Gala on the 28th of March 2026.

The ex War Department Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. "Walkden" is currently under overhaul in the workshops at the Ribble Steam Railway at Preston, Docks which is in its final stages. Boiler repairs are now complete will undergo a hydraulic test before its steam test soon and work has been carried out on the front axle to eliminate some side play and and the locomotive should be in steam and in service again this year.
