The build gauge, incidentially, was 600mm (rather than 24"). There is a small difference!

This, it would appear, is actually Arnold Jung No. 255/1896 that was supplied via Fr. Krupp Holiday Work, Magdeburg to Family Teresa of the Tacubaya Amusement Park Railway, 11870 Mexico City and where it was in 2000.

Said to have been missing for about 80 years, it was recently discovered that it had been stored in a warehouse near Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez, the Mexico City International Airport. Its owner has passed away and its current location is once again, unknown.

Gerald Best noted this in his Mexican Narrow Gauge book, as two-foot gauge. They also had a tiny BLW 4-4-0 that disappeared when the line was electrified and standard gauged about 1910. He lists this engine as built by Krauss in 1896 (no other details) and the Baldwin as builder No. 15241 3/97, named "Susana".
