Whilst basically the same, the Karl Marx FLC in Potsdam, outside Berlin, had been designated, by 1955, LKM Babelsberg, this locomotive being then No. 146604/1955 of the latter. The locomotive itself was originally delivered to VEB Orbitaplast at Weißant-Golzäu, with no recorded number, then VEB Chemische Werke Buna, Schkopau as their No. 22. Only from 1979 was it at Reichbahnkraftwerk Muldenstein as their No. 2. It was resident in RAW Meiningen 1990 then in 2000, plinthed in Naherholungszentrum, Muldestausee, Muldenstein, north of Bittefeld, where it still was in 2007.

Joachim Lutz records that the loco was supplied new to VEB Orbitaplast, Weißant-Gölzau, moving to Chemische Werke Buna, Schkopau, as their No.22. In 1979 it moved to Reichsbahnkraftwerk, 06804 Muldenstein as their No2.
