New South Wales Government Railway 1064 is a 3 ton self propelled coal grab which entered service in August 1918. Originally numbered LO39, renumbered in 1924 to 1064. This type of crane was used mostly at smaller steam sheds, being used to coal locomotives. 1064 was withdrawn in 1971 and joined the Enfield museum collection. It moved to Thirlmere when the Enfield museum closed. In 2008 a start was made on restoring this loco. It was back in service in 2010 and has been used coaling Thirlmere steam fleet. 2015 found its boiler removed and being overhauled.
