Originally intended for delivery to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No 45 057, which was subsequently cancelled, the locomotive being never built! Instead it was delivered to, and accepted by the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn at Göttingen as No. 50 334, being commissioned to itially work fro Bw Stettin (now Szczecin, Poland) and as a result found itself, following WW2, on the Soviet DDR of East Germany and in the DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the same identity. In 1958 it was reconstructed at Raw Stendal (not LKM, Berlin as previously implied but probably received a new boiler from hat workshops) and emerged from Stendal as No. 50 3521, thus becoming, when computerised in 1970 No. 50 3521-7. It had more revision in the summer of 1989 at Raw Meiningen and when released was employed as a heating lok at Bw Templin until 1991, then at Bw Pasewalk until being withdrawn by the DB in 02/1992. It was then purchased privately by Claus-Peter Vedder as No. 50 3521 before being loaned to the BSW Group Rostock, Rostock before going, in 2002 to PEG - Prignitzer Eisenbahn GmbH, Putlitz, German as No. 50 3521-7. It was later on loan to the VHLW - Verein Historischer Lokschuppen Wittenberge e. V., Wittenberge prior to being installed as a monument outside Eisenbahn Romantik Hotel Meyenburg, Meyenburg, Germany.

Originally delivered to DRG as No. 50 334, through to 1949 when it then became DR in the same identity. It was rebuilt as a Rekolok in 1958 by LKM, emerging as their No. 151021/1958 in addition to it’s former Henschel build number of 24968/1940 and as DR No. 50 3521-7.
