Originally numbered DD1021, in 1925 it was renumbered to DD729. In 1930 a larger boiler was fitted and again renumbered to D3 677. Loco withdrawn in January 1964. 1969 was put on display at Ringwood. Later acquired by Steamrail Victoria and moved to Newport Workshops. Now is stored in a none public area of the works as a parts donor for D639
