does this loco still run on the railway? I have not seen it in quite a while now.

With the overhaul now over and running well ex War Department Light Railways 1917 Baldwin built 4-6-0T No. 608 will now be based at the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways for the foreseeable future where No. 608 will be operated along the Welsh Highland Railway in the years to come.

The ex War Department Light Railways 1917 Baldwin built 4-6-0T No. 608 has been fully restored to running condition and steamed for the first time since 1994. The locomotive has been moved to the Welsh Highland Railway (Caernarfon) for running in trials and a short loan to them which will be the first time a Baldwin 10-12-D Class has ran on the line since 1942.

Locomotive came from Sugar Mill BSSC Ryam, near Darbhanga, India, imported into UK in 2013.
