One of two identical new locos supplied in November 1906 to Penrhyn Slate Quarry, costing £1,200 for the two. Received the name PAMELA. Worked until 1951, when the boiler expired. The quarry fitted a boiler from a Hudswell Clarke loco works number 1643. Back in service 1952 and finally withdrawn in 1958 due to a defective firebox. The quarry railway closed in 1962. PAMELA was sold into preservation in 1965. In 1984 moved to Tilford and in 2013 purchased by the Old Kiln Railway. The railway is trying to raise cash to buy a new boiler. The other loco supplied was Hunslet 921 which is also preserved.

Old Kiln railway can only be accessed by visiting the Rural Life Centre, Liphook. Railway operates must Sundays. At present all the steam locomotives are being overhauled. The volunteers at the railway are keen to show enthusiasts around.
