Stathi Pappas reports that his Stockton Locomotive Works acquired #61 in March, 2016, by trade. The partially dissembled locomotive is expected to be relocated to the new Stockton Locomotive Works shop location in Antonito, Colorado, during the Fall of 2017.

The only railroad to owne this engine was the white pass and yukon railroad.it was retired after world war two and was burried in the skagway river to keep the road bed from washing out. It was removed from the river in 1990 and sold to the mid west locomotive and machine works in 2007 where it is now under restoration
