QJ 7143 was once part of a fleet of a 120 ex China Rail 2-10-2’s that were best remembered hauling heavy freight and passenger trains over the legendry Jingpeng Pass on the Jitong Railway from 1995 till the very end of steam in December 2005. The locomotive today is on static display at Daban depot along with her surviving sisters.
