The 18 is currently on temporary loan to the Sierra Railroad out of Oakdale, California for the next two years.  She is pulling the dinner train on weekends during the summer months.  Just saw her last weekend, she looks great, but her whistle sounded a little weak and needs some work.

Locomotive sold to Northern Nevada Railway Preservation to be used on the rebuilt Virginia & Truckee out of Carson City. The McCloud's owners have agreed to store the locomotive in McCloud until the new owners can take delivery of it, which means a place to store it.

This locomotive is back home at the McCloud Railway and is restored back to operation. #18 is used in excursion service and sometimes pulls a restored Pullman car set dinner train.

Engine has been returned (sold) back to the McCloud River RR in Calif.  This happened in about 1998, I believe.
