Removed from Germany as war reparation going to Fayle's Tramway in Norden, Dorset. When rail traffic ceased, was preserved with the intention of converting to a steam loco. Conversion included a new boiler, wheels being machined plus 2 ex Smith & Rodley steam winch cylinders being fitted. At present on loan to the Old Kiln Railway, Tilford. Undergoing overhaul with boiler removed.

Fayle's underground mine at Purbeck which produced ball clay. Fayle's tramway was a 1907 built line with a 45 inch gauge to transport clay from the surface to Goathorn Pier, 6 miles away. Fell into disuse in 1937. The line was regauged in 1948 to 23.5 inch, operating until early 70s when road transport took over. Part of tramway was lifted, the rest sold to a preservation society. The mine underground railway lasted till 1991. Ball clay when fired makes a fine quality white coloured pottery. Ball clay found in America, but only at three locations in UK.

Originally built by Orenstein & Koppel as a diesel mechanical in 1938 (works No 21160) and worked at the V2 rocket launch site at Peenemunde, then (post war, obviously!)in the ball clay industry in Dorset, UK. Rebuilt at the Moors Valley Railway as a steam loco and has worked on a number of narrow gauge operations, but seems to be based at Amerton now.
