Ex DR No. 52.4924, is dislayed at Cranzahl during the 100 years of the 750mm gauge Cranzahl to The loco is an unrebuilt example of about 6000 "Kriegslok" 2-10-0 locomotives built in Germany and occupied countries during WW2. Most members of the class in East Germany were rebuilt in the 1960s as class 52.8. Those in the west were scrapped. The locos were widespread in Europe until recent times, particularly Poland. A few are still at work on industrial lines in the former states of Jugoslavia.
