I gave this as SS 3251 of 1884 wrongly plated as 3231 which was No. 3.

It is believed that this locomotive was built for the Valladolid to Medina de Rioseco Railway became part of the Castilian Secondary Railways as their No 2. It may be that the No. 6 ‘RICOSECO’ derives from it’s original owner, as it was not that from the CSR. However, the late Pat Ramsome-Wallis suggests that the build number is actually 3231, of which by looking at the plate on file, could be more correct though not too distinctive.
